Hezbollah picks cleric Naim Kassem to lead the Lebanese militant group

Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militant group in Lebanon, has chosen Naim Kassem as its new leader.

The cleric takes over after Israel killed Hezbollah's longtime leader, Hassan Nasrallah, in an airstrike in a Beirut suburb in late September.
