by admin

President Biden is presented with a blanket by Interior Secretary Deb Haaland (R) and Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs Bryan Newland (L) at the Tribal Nations Summit on Dec, 9, 2024.

The new monument will be in Carlisle, Pa., on what was the campus of a school where about 7,800 children from more than 140 tribes were sent for assimilation between 1879 to 1918.
