Ukraine and the U.S. have signed a long-stalled minerals deal

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko sign a deal that will give the United States preferential access to new Ukrainian minerals deals and fund investment in Ukraine

The two countries have agreed to a deal to jointly invest in Ukraine's mineral, raw materials and natural resource wealth in exchange for future U.S. aid.
